Lindsay Lohan says her split with Samantha Ronson came as a complete surprise. Lindsay was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing today) and admits she had no clue whatsoever that Samantha was through with her. Apparently all was going along swimmingly, Samantha disapeared for a week, and then made sure Lindsay couldn’t enter sister Charlotte‘s party in Los Angeles.

Amy Winehouse wants to be a writer and poet. Hmmm, the singer wants to quit singing, adopt a child and now write children’s books and poetry. It seems like Amy might really be kicking drugs and moving on with her life. These are good things, right?
