Paris Hilton will travel to Cameroon. This is a destination Paris is doing to help shed light on the problems the country faces. Hmmm. Seriously, does Paris know this is a foreign nation and not a type of cookie?

Paris met the wife of the ruler of Cameroon, Chantal Biya. (Wow! They have big hair in Cameroon!) Paris, Chantal and Sarah Brown, wife of UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, have cooked up some plan. This is what Radar Online says of the trip:
Paris is now Twitter buddies with Sarah Brown, and she has already talked to Biya since the event. Scott Lazerson of the Interface Foundation says, “The First Lady of Camaroon has invited the Interface Foundation to Cameroon to work on the Millennium Development goals. We have some exciting news to announce in the next two weeks.”
Hopefully Paris’ trip won’t end up being a vacation, like Sienna Miller’s trip to the Congo has been. Paris promised to make a difference in the world when she was released from jail almost two years ago, but hasn’t done so yet. Is this the start of it? Hopefully, Sarah and Chantal can make a big influence on Paris.

What on earth does she want there. If she wants to help Cameroon, the best way is not through a friendship with Chantal (Chantou) who is helping her husband crumble the country and sending witnesses to jail. Given her background – she came from a really poor family and does not know her father – Chantal would have been able to change Popol into a better president. Instead, he has been more ruthless than ever before. I bet when she gets there, she’ll never get a chance to see a single one of the poor people selling by the roadside.
