Phil Spector was charged with second degree murder this afternoon. Phil has been in court for what seems like years as he was on trial for the murder of his friend, Lana Clarkson. The first trial didn’t manage a conviction, but this time justice seems to have been served.

Lana was an aspiring actress and much younger than Spector. It is rumored he was jealous of her and that he was maybe even mentally unstable. Judging by the hairstyles from court, I say the latter was more accurate. From People Magazine:
The 68-year-old music legend has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson, who was slain at his mansion six years ago. In a retrial, the jury of six men and six women returned the verdict in a Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday afternoon.
Spector could face up to 15 years to life in prison.
Now, call it my age, but I don’t remember what made Spector famous. Is he a producer? He sure as heck can’t be a singer, because no face looking like that would sell records. Unless it was during the 60s, since the record buyers were all high and probably didn’t recognize the ugly!
