Real New York City Housewife Kelly Bensimon attacked Bethenny Frankel in May’s Harper’s Bazaar. Kelly and Bethenny have major, major problems on the Bravo show, which we think stems from both women being single and subconsciously competitive with one another. In the past, Bethenny has called Kelly an”inauthentic” famewhore. Meanwhile, Kelly curtly told Bethenny she’s “above” her on the New York City social circle.

While the show has finished taping, and really Kelly should just bury the hatchet and move on, she told May’s Harper’s Bazaar (via usmagazine.com)that Bethenny is the one who is “inauthentic.”
“Honestly, if being inauthentic means graduating from Columbia University, writing three books, starting two magazines, bearing two children [daughters Sea, 10, and Teddy, 8], being the ambassador for wool, running a marathon for charity — if that’s inauthentic? Tell me what authentic is,” she says.
First of all — what is “the ambassador for wool”?! Kelly then goes on to say Bethenny doesn’t have famous friends and just sits around crying about men all the time.
“Is Bethenny a socialite? No.” Bensimon, 40, says. “Will she ever sit next to [socialite] Lauren DuPont? No. Is she best friends with [Estee Lauder Senior Vice President] Aerin Lauder? No. Am I? No. Do I care? No. Does she? Oh, absolutely. She’s not authentic. All she does is sit there and cry all the time,” she continues. “I’m like, You’re crying about guys? And shut up.”
And we think Kelly should shut up. It’s tacky, low class and immature to talk trash. Leave all that crap for the chicks on The Hills.
