Scarlett Johansson is made about the weight attention she is getting. In another move Scarlett learned from Gwyneth Paltrow, her new pal, she disses the media and slams everyone for being stupid. Being stupid about and irresponsible about commenting on Scarlett’s weight loss, that is.

Since Scarlett got married, she’s been acting like a different person. A bit of a diva with a sense of entitlement maybe? Scarlett said via the Huffington Post:
Since dedicating myself to getting into “superhero shape,” several articles regarding my weight have been brought to my attention. Claims have been made that I’ve been on a strict workout routine regulated by co-stars, whipped into shape by trainers I’ve never met, eating sprouted grains I can’t pronounce and ultimately losing 14 pounds off my 5’3″ frame. Losing 14 pounds out of necessity in order to live a healthier life is a huge victory. I’m a petite person to begin with, so the idea of my losing this amount of weight is utter lunacy. If I were to lose 14 pounds, I’d have to part with both arms. And a foot. I’m frustrated with the irresponsibility of tabloid media who sell the public ideas about what we should look like and how we should get there.
Wow. She had a lot to say and she kinda said it in a nice, but snotty way. So, Scarlett is not being forced to diet by Gwyneth Paltrow. That’s what you didn’t read between the lines. The sarcasm, the talking down to…you read those perfectly.

If she believed what she really says : 1) she wouldn’t have lost the pounds in the first place, because actresses’ talent should not be measured by the way they look in a suit; 2) she would not be posing in all the women’s and fashion magazines that promote all the stuff she claims to be against. It’s the same magazines that she poses in that young women buy and, unfortunately, they build their self-esteem on the celebrities they see there. Whenever celebrities are on the covers, they adopt suggestive poses and all the headlines talk about either their sex-appeal or their glamourous success. Sorry Scarlett, but you change your looks so often and play in ridiculous movies like Spirit, that really only sell beacuse of the actresses looks! I mean have you seen how deprecating Spirit is? Any women who has selfrespect would refuse to be a sexual product for the movie industry. And clearly you are not refusing to be such a product by accepting such roles and by posing in beauty magazines.
