Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn have legally separated. Sean and Robin have been having problems since December of 2007, when the couple first filed for divorce. Then when April of 2008 rolled around, Sean and Robin decided to give their marriage another go and stayed together. Alas, Sean filed the papers once again last Friday.

In March, Sean Penn was spotted making out with Natalie Portman and rumored to have had a fling with Lindsay Lohan. While both parties denied this, Sean failed to mention Robin during his acceptance speech after winning an Oscar for Best Actor in the movie Milk.
The couple have two children, Dylan, 18, and Hopper Jack, 15.
