Not surprisingly, Angelina Jolie‘s W cover and Vanity Fair covers were best sellers, for the month’s of November and July respectively. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham was the big winner for her January Elle cover and August cover for Allure.

Just between us, what is the allure of Victoria Beckham? Angelina Jolie makes sense. She is, afterall, a pouty-lipped, husband stealer with an army of adopted children—but what is so fascinating about Posh Spice?
WWD notes that Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Connelly, Rachel Weisz and Drew Barrymore were poor sellers. Again, totally bizarre. We think the fashiona daily should take headlines and story teasers into consideration, too.
