Whitney Port Has Left Her Job
Whitney Port, of The Hills and now The City fame, is rumored to have left her job working in the publicity department for Diane von Furstenberg. As whispered about for months, Whitney and co-star/co-worker Olivia Palermo were bitter rivals, with Olivia eventually beating out Whitney for the promotion, as publicity hack in Diane von Furstenberg‘s London office.

According to Page Six, this most recent shake-up sent Whitney to work at her former employer’s (People’s Revolution) PR department. Of course, an MTV spokesperson is being characteristically vague about the goings on behind the scenes. The insider will not confirm or deny Whitney has left her job, or whether or not Elle magazines’s creative director, Joe Zee, plans to hop on The City and be a co-star. Zee had a couple of cameos last season.
