Zac Efron Will Be Jonny Quest
Zac Efron will be Johnny Quest. Zac dumped his role in Footloose so he wasn’t cast as a musical singer, so know he picked up a comic book character. Or cartoon character…however you look at it. Do you think Zac made a smart move by dropping one for the other?

Zac is on a hot streak right now. HSM 3 was a huge hit and the word is that Disney is hot to get moving on the 4th installment of the High School Musical series. In the meantime, Zac is looking for other beefy roles to add to his resume. The LA Times says:
The choice of Efron is going to stir up fans of the classic Quest series because, well, Jonny was just an 11-year-old in the prime-time cartoons of the 1960s that so deftly pulled on Milton Canniff, Ian Fleming and Rudyard Kipling for their spirit of exotic adventure. I myself think it’s a surprising but interesting choice, and I’m one of the people in town who think Efron (like Justin Timberlake) has a big future ahead of him and that people will look back on his frothy Disney duty as just the early steps in the choreography of his career.
OK…forget the technical stuff. Zac will be hot in the role no matter what anybody else says! When does this movie start shooting and how soon will tickets be on sale? Just please, please don’t let any female co-stars like Vanessa Hudgens near it!
