Angelina Jolie was injured on the Salt set this morning. Angelina Jolie is doing one of her signature action-y type movies and got scraped up a bit while attempting a stunt. In Salt, Jolie plays a C.I.A agent who is accused of being a Russian spy. As we all remember, the role was originally set to star Tom Cruise. Angie, however, swiftly snatched it away. She’s good at that.

Anyway, as usmagazine.com reports Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital for a knick inbetween her eyes but is fine now. Sony issued a statement to cure the gaggles of Jolie worshipers who thought they may have to rush to her hospital bed.
“This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie Salt, Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”
Whew. That was a close one.
