Beyonce is on the June cover of Self and talks fitness, diets and when she likes her body best. Now, Beyonce is a curvy chick and feels best when she doesn’t “look like she goes to the gym.” But most people would be shocked to learn how much cardio Beyonce does on a regular basis.

Six miles if she hasn’t danced in the studio and 3 miles if she has. Wow. That’s a lot of calorie burning. And what motivates her to run even harder? A picture of an Oscar on the treadmill — as she feels like she’s “running toward her goal.” However, Beyonce is still human and admits to overindulging once her tour ends (via Self.com)

“When I’m completely overwhelmed and tired, comfort food helps. I’ll want to have some ice cream. Or when the tour is behind, I’m like, I just want some Krispy Kremes!” she says. “There’s too much good food out there to never indulge. When I’m off, I feel like I’ve earned [the right] to eat what I want, and I give myself a certain amount of time,” she says.
