Chris Brown’s lawyer is looking through police records to see who’s behind the leaked Rihanna photo. Mark Geragos, Brown‘s lawyer, is still hoping to get Chris off the hook through some technicality. He filed two motions gaining access to all LAPD police records yesterday. If he finds any misconduct, Geragos plans to get the case dismissed. Oh, for crying out loud.
more Chris Brown photos after the hop…
This is what Geragos had to say (via usmagazine.com):
This highly prejudicial photograph was sold by a LAPD officer to the entertainment website [TMZ],” Geragos wrote. “The purpose of the leak was necessarily for profit and to vilify Mr. Brown and poison the potential jury pool.” He added that the photo — which he said “violates a variety of criminal and regulatory prohibitions” — was seen by “hundreds of thousands of viewers” and remains on TMZ.
While a cop selling the photo is absolutely horrendous, the thought of Chris Brown getting of scotch-free makes us physically ill. The court date is set for May 28th.
