Cynthia Nixon plans on making an honest woman out of girlfriend Christine Mariononi—the two are officially engaged. Cynthia and Christine have been dating for six years and want to become Mrs. and Mrs., this will be the second marriage for Cynthia, who dumped her husband for Christine back in 2002.

According to usmagazine.com, the two have been holding out until New York state deemed same-sex marriage was legal. Cynthia and Christine wanted to have a proper ceremony that “the state would recognize,” Cynthia said. The two showed off and made their engagement legal at a Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally in New York City.
We’re guessing the marriage pictures are going to be in the same vain as Portia and Ellen—one white tux, one slinky Vera Wang.
