Jennifer Love Hewitt is working on a country album. Insert all the groaning now. Why do TV stars – see Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and now Jennifer – think they should cross over when they have little singing talent? They may have some talent, but stick to one talent and make it great!

Jennifer has done fairly well in TV and movie acting. But can she sing? NME says:
Love Hewitt’s boyfriend Jamie Kennedy told People.com that once Hewitt has written enough material, he wants to help her demo it.
“[Jennifer is] writing a country song,” Kennedy said. “I really want to make her a new demo for her music, because I think she should do singing again. She’s so good.”
Of course, any smart boyfriend would say she is good at it. But is she really? Did anyone listed to her 2002 album? How was it? I think Jennifer could be marginally better than Jessica was with the country fans, as long as she stays real. Jessica went all weirdo and it creeped people out, hence, they didn’t buy her album.
