Jessica Biel told the June issue of Allure that she’s too hot to score awesome roles in Hollywood. Actually, correction, Jessica says she’s too hot to even score auditions in Hollywood. Hm. If a casting director doesn’t want to see you, it most likely means you aren’t right for the role, no? Jessica doesn’t seem to think so…

She told Allure (via usmagazine.com):
“Yeah, it really is a problem,” Biel tells the June issue of Allure magazine. “I have to be blunt. I’m in there with everybody else, fighting for the good parts. Yes, The Illusionist has made a difference — but a huge, massive difference, so I can pick and choose what I want? No. I just want an opportunity. If you don’t like the audition, don’t hire me!” she says. “But if you don’t want to even see me — that’s hurtful. And why? You know nothing about me!”
Anyone else think it’s a bit odd Jessica would assume it was her looks keeping her from the casting couch? Color us judgemental but there are a lot of A-list actresses as pretty (if not prettier) than Biel…?

It kind of reminds me of what moms say to their kids when they’re picked on. You know – “they’re only doing it because they’re jealous of you”. Well, sometimes they’re not jealous. They just think you suck.
