Kate Winslet is suing a newspaper over their opinion. Their opinion of Kate, which is none too glowing, to be exact. Kate has been turning more and more diva with her actions and behavior and the newspaper was just pointing that out. And Kate suing them only proves their point!

Does Kate even realize she fell right in to their hands? They said she is acting like a diva, so what does she do when they say one not even bad thing about her? She acts like a diva and sues.  Via OK! Magazine:

The Oscar winner is suing the Daily Mail, a UK tabloid, saying they libeled her in an article called, “Should Kate Winslet Win an Oscar for the World’s Most Irritating Actress?” She’s seeking around $225,000 in damages.

“[Winslet] was particularly upset by what she regarded as the very unpleasant and nasty way in which the article was written,” according to her April legal filing.

The Daily Mail writer, Liz Jones, claims she had succumbed to Hollywood pressure and slimmed down, saying she “has become, in my opinion, as drippy and as impossibly vain as the rest of them.”

“She caught a nasty dose of Hollywooditis. It happens to the best of them, of course it does,” wrote Jones. “It is the duplicitousness that enrages me and most other women I have spoken to.”

Well, after reading it I don’t see where the nastiness comes in. Nasty would be saying that Kate is two faced – as she posed on a fur throw on the cover of Vogue when she is a peta supporter. Nasty would be saying she is an over-rated actress who gets awards because she has a British accent! Kate needs to lighten up a bit!
