Kris Allen crowned the winner of the American Idol Season 8 last night and as usual I knew Simon Cowell would be right! Kris was basically speechless. “Are you serious?” he asked host Ryan Seacrest. “Are you friggin’ serious?” That’s so cool. Kris was the underdog and with runner-up, Adam Lambert being every critique’s favorite, guess it was quite a shocker even for the winner himself.

100 million votes were casted so you can’t say Kris didn’t deserve to win but I have to say that either one of them Kris or Adam could have be crowned – They were both so good. Normally I have my pick and this time, it really was pretty hard to call. Then again you know Simon said before the show on Tuesday night that Kris is the one who’ll come out winning! Didn’t I tell you not challenge Simon?
Asked how it felt to win, Kris said, “It feels good, but Adam deserves this.”
It would have been nice to have two winners just for this one time, wouldn’t it?
