Maria Menounos and Mario Lopez had a dinner date together at Katsuya in Hollywood last night. Maria and Mario shared a friendly hug before going their separate ways. Didn’t realize they have the same name – ok, he’s the guy so his ends with the “O” and she’s the girl so hers end with the “a” – that’s cute.

As the matter of fact, they look cute together. Any thoughts? Oops! Mario is rumored to be back on with his Dancing with the Stars, on and off girlfriend Karina Smirnoff. They were together holding hands at the MGM Grand in Vegas for The Manny Pacquiao fight as reports by Meetthefamous.com. So what’s the scoop with Karina and her briefly dated boyfriend, Maksim Chmerkovskiy who became her fiance in January? I guess, Maksim was just her rebound boyfriend after going busted with Lopez. Hard to resist those dimples! ( A reader just informed me that the girl Mario was with a couple days back isn’t Katrina, it is his new girlfriend. Yes, she doesn’t look 100% Katrina, she looks like the girl, Mario was with at the Lakers game in March. ) All right, Romeo, perhaps you can spill the beans for us.
Why am I going on and on about Karina and Mario – isn’t it all about Mario dining with Maria? All right I lost focus. I know a lot of women think Mario is such a catch. My dear, beneath that cute innocent dimple face, he has a reputation of being a what? A womanizer, true?
Anyway, out and about, Mario and Maria dining together but went home separately – just pals at least for now.
