Natalie Portman and Sean Penn are not dating. Ever since Sean Penn filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Robin Wright, everyone has speculated Natalie was the cause of the split. Publications like Star and Page Six have claimed the two made out in public and held hands in L.A. and all sorts of stuff. Not true, says Portman.

“Sean Penn is a friend and colleague,” the actress, 27, tells Usmagazine.com. “The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue. I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so.”
