Paris Hilton is the latest celebutard to score an MTV documentary special. It’s titled, Paris, Not France and was sold to MTV because it did so distasterously at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival. The premise of the documentary is to analyze not only Hilton, but why we as consumers are so batty for celebrity. Honestly, it’s a pretty tired concept, but Extra.com (bless their hearts) is saying that P. Hilt comes across more “self aware” and less the “ditzy party girl.”

more Paris photos after the hop…

In the documentary, Paris says the world views her as a Barbie doll that lives in a fantasy world. She also alludes to building a blond, bobblehead image because she thought that was what the public wanted, but she truly looks up to women like Princess Diana.

We make fun, sure, but we’ll probably watch this. We don’t have high hopes, though.
