Lucy Gordon, who played a reporter in Spider-Man 3 was found dead in her Paris apartment this morning. Police have concluded it was a suicide, Gordon reportedly hung herself while her boyfriend was asleep. Lucy was about ready to turn 29, and had just wrapped a biopic, Serge Gainsbourg (A Heroic Life), where she played Jane Birkin.

Aside from Spider-Man 3, Serge Gainsbourg (A Heroic Life), Lucy also starred in Serendipity, The Four Feathers (with Heath Ledger, ironically enough), and Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (via eonline.com)
Before scoring film roles, Lucy worked as a model and accoridng to usmagazine.com was named one of England’s most promising stars by the London Times.
