Angelina Jolie gets hung up on by a designer. Twice! The designer was Malcolm Harris and he thought someone was prank calling him, pretending to be Angelina. He hung up right away the first time, then even a second time after she said who it was. After a bit more clarification, Angelina proved who she was and ordered some of his designs.

I might get nervous if Angelina called me and hang up by accident. But on purpose? And twice?! The New York Post says:
The Mal Sirrah designer didn’t believe it was Jolie on the line when she called last week to order three of his “One Dress” frocks. Finally, she convinced him she was the real deal by explaining they were both participating in World Refugee Day on Saturday. Jolie bought three of Harris’ dresses for $225 a pop, knowing that some of the proceeds go to the UN’s refugee effort. Harris confirmed the story to Page Six and said, “I was so flattered.”
It would be hard to be so flattered and embarrassed at the same time! I’m glad Angelina persisted and it was for a great cause, however. I don’t think a couple of hang ups would get in Angelina’s way of doing a good deed.
