Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have finally decided to discuss why they signed on for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Speidi opened up to People magazine about why they decided to leave L.A. and rough it in a jungle for a few months, and this will shock you—but it’s for publicity! Of course it is.

According to People, Speidi will rough it in Costa Rica (challenges include fairing murky water currents and doing other outdoors-y type stuff) and are using the show as a platform to whore out share their music with the masses. In fact, Spencer‘s music video, “I’m A Celebrity” will air tonight. Goody!
Says Spencer: “The closest I’ve been to camping was one time at the Four Seasons in Maui—they put me in the garden-view suite, not the oceanfront like I would usually get. I wish I was making a joke! If there weren’t cameras and it wasn’t on NBC, I would already have quit,” says Spencer. “But this is my chance to promote my music, and my wife’s music, so I would walk on coals and battle an alligator right now.”
