Sooo, it turns out Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt weren’t tortured. So confusing. As we reported earlier, it was rumored Heidi Montag had undergone some sort of third-world type of torture camp scenario where she was locked in a dark room for three days, sans food and water. Not so, says sources on the “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” set.

In fact, Speidi may have even gotten special treatment, or so reported The New York Daily News:
Any accusations that Spencer and Heidi were harmed are untrue,” says the source. “There was no danger, no life-threatening situations — in fact, they were actually protected from the elements, unlike the other contestants…”
Yup. Speidi just don’t have the guts to keep up with the big kids. As a matter of fact, in a special statement released this morning, studio execs said:
“ITV has been producing this format around the world for many years and the health of the celebrity participants are of the utmost importance,” the statement read. “A medic and a doctor are present at the location at all times for all participants. All allegations of the celebrities being deprived of food and water are completely untrue.”
