Jessica Alba won’t be charged in shark poster incident. Jessica was in Oklahoma City to film her latest movie when she decided to help out a group promoting shark awareness by plastering posters around town.  This conservation group that points out sharks are declining in numbers and need to be protected.

Jessica was caught on camera putting the posters over billboards and other places in town. The property owners where posters were placed decided not to file charges, however. From the Associated Press:

Police have decided against pursuing a criminal vandalism case against Jessica Alba over some posters that were plastered around downtown Oklahoma City.

Police Sgt. Gary Knight said none of the owners of property on which the posters were placed wanted to press charges against Alba, who has apologized.

Do you think if Jessica weren’t a star, this would have even made the news? Probably not. But I guess Jessica got noticed for a good deed and trying to save the animals. Maybe this will help save the sharks a little bit.
