Kate Hudson feverishly avoided a face-to-face with Madonna on Saturday’s Veuve Clicquot’s Manhattan Polo Classic. As we all know, Kate has been seen out and about with Alex Rodriguez, Madonna’s (maybe) ex. Regardless of the fact Madge is toting a brand, spankin’ new boy toy Jesus Luz and appears to have her veiny hands full, Kate was worried Madonna may have gotten a case of the jealousies.

According to Gatecrasher, Kate was worried over nothing. While Hudson hightailed it to the back of the tent once Madonna arrived, Madonna calmly hung out in the V.I.P. area with Jesus, Marc Jacobs a few photographers and her kids. Witnesses claimed Madge didn’t look the least bit ruffled and probably wouldn’t have even noticed Kate — let alone start a catfight.
