Kristen Cavallari caused a stir this week when she almost caused a glittery model catfight. Kristin, who was recently hired to star on The Hills, has been raked over the coals within the media as of late for her diva-ish, difficult behavior on set. For some reason, Kristin was hired to emcee a modeling event at club Tantra in St. Maarten and almost started not one fight — but four fights.

The star of “The Hills” was hosting a fashion show…she decided to playfully toss some glitter at catwalking models, who didn’t appreciate the gesture. “After the show, four of the models had to be restrained from trying to start a fight with her while she was in the DJ booth with Robert Iler and DJ Ruckus,” says a spy. “One of them grabbed her by the hair before the fracas got broken up.” Club security eventually escorted the miffed models out before anyone broke a nail.

You know. We’re not sure where our loyalties fall here. Kristen was no doubt annoying, but is glitter on the catwalk really worth a physical cat fight?
