Pete Doherty was arrested for doing drugs on a plane. Doherty, who has very publicly battled a rather disgusting drug habit for years, has been in and out of rehab, clinics and jail for the past couple of years. While everyone thought he had at least become more discreet with his needle and pipe habits, alas, Petey was found slumped over and intoxicated on a plane bathroom this past week.

According to The Daily Mail, Pete was arrested in Geneva, Switzerland and then went off to play a gig that evening at the Neuchatel Open Air Festival.
He had been in there for about 25 minutes when the announcement came over the tannoy for the crew to prepare the flight for landing. The crew knocked on the door but Pete didn’t come out. They eventually managed to get in 10 minutes before the plane landed. He was charged — but I cannot say what with. He paid a fine and was allowed to go.”
To be frank, us Americans make such a big deal about Lindsay Lohan and her shenigagans, but homegirl is a nun compared to Pete Doherty!
