Shia LaBeouf is set to star in the Oliver Stone directed Wall Street 2. The original Wall Street was released back in 1987 and centered around mid-80s insider trading with Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen. With the current economic climate in the financial district right now, it’s no wonder Oliver Stone has rekindled his interest in making a second coming using money scandal as a motif.

Page Six spies caught wine of Stone and LaBeouf have a sit-down meeting in midtown Manhattan yesterday. According to the spies:
On Tuesday, the two sat down with “six men in suits” at La Bottega in the Maritime Hotel, a source reports. It must have been important because, our witness said, “they demanded the restaurant shut down” for the top-secret meeting.
Closing down a restaurant for a movie meeting? A bit much, no? It isn’t as if Shia and Oliver are Brad and Angie or anything.
