Blake Lively tried to get her boyfriend kicked off the show. Blake’s boyfriend is Penn Badgely, who happens to still be on the show two years later. So you can tell how well Blake’s plan worked.

Blake didn’t want to share a TV show with her then off screen boyfriend. But after Penn met the cast and crew, they liked him. From the SF Gate:

She tells Britain’s Glamour magazine, “At first I was so upset that they hired him. I actually poisoned the whole cast against him. But then they noticed that he wasn’t a jerk and was actually a really nice, charming person.

“Almost immediately I realized that too, but it took me about a week to admit it.”

My first instinct is to say, what a b—- for not wanting him on the show. But maybe Blake had other reasons, like she was afraid working together would make them break up. At least Blake is big enough to admit she was wrong!
