Channing Tatum covers the August issue of GQ. Channing looks smoking in a series of hot guy poses in anticipation of his new role in G.I. Joe this summer. We think he must be the male version of Megan Fox — yet to really prove himself as an actor, but if he plays his cards right could absolutely slide into a rather enviable good-looking guy/action star-with-some-quirks groove.

Channing (who goes by “Chan”) told GQ about his rise to fame:

“I got crazy lucky. Like, sometimes I think I won the lottery or something. At times it feels like the bottom’s gonna fall out. Just ’cause I don’t really know how I got here. But I just keep moving forward, and it just keeps getting better and better.”

Oh, and who did the Alabaman vote for in the 2008 election?

“I don’t care. If they don’t like me because I voted for Obama, then f— them. I like horses and I like Obama. Nothin’ wrong with that.”
