Emma Watson and Marilyn Manson? What is up with this combination? Emma is innocent and Marilyn is everything but…the pairing even frightens me to write about. I almost hope that this project isn’t true!

It seems that Emma wants to stretch her wings in acting and be versatile like Daniel Radcliffe did in Equus. So, guess who she is teaming up with? Marilyn. From the Press Association:

Emma Watson has reportedly been cast as Cinderella in goth rocker Marilyn Manson’s new musical version of the fairytale.

The Harry Potter star is to play the princess, whose fairy godmother sends her to the ball, in a Gothic retelling of the classic children’s story, the Sun reports.

The starring role in the all-singing film – as yet untitled – would be 19-year-old Emma’s first appearance outside of a Harry Potter film.

If Emma does do this, I hope she can stay away from being Marilyn’s new girlfriend. It didn’t work out for Dita von Teese, and she was much older and wiser. Beware Emma!
