Hayden Panettiere’s movie “Beth Cooper’ tanks at the box office this weekend. And this should prove to Hayden, be careful what you wish for! She whined and complained about being a celebrity a bit and said she wanted fans to leave her alone – and they listened!

Hayden did a little PR last week about her movie that opened, but it wasn’t enough to help her movie out. It had some fierce competition with ICE AGE and Bruno, both comedies and more – OK, not Bruno – family friendly. From New York Daily News:
‘I Love You, Beth Cooper” could be called an atrocity, but that might suggest there was something in it that could be ruined. This unfunny, unoriginal, charmless teen comedy is so stunningly awful from start to finish, it’s amazing to think its director has made a single film before, much less a dozen.
Ouch! On the bright side, the writing and directing of the script isn’t Hayden’s fault. You can’t make a poorly written and executed movie any fun. So, it will be on to bigger – and hopefully funnier – things for Hayden!
