Hilary Duff will join the Gossip Girl cast for a few upcoming episodes. Wow. Hilary’s got her hands full, huh? Not only has she been cast as Megan McCain in a movie that hasn’t even been optioned yet, but it appears as if she’ll be rubbing elbows with Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Blake Lively soon. For real!

People magazine reported today that Hilary will play Olivia Burke a “a famous film star in search of the normal college experience.” She will be roommates with Jessica Szohr and hang out with the entire crew at New York University.
