Jennifer Love Hewitt was engaged, then not engaged – AGAIN – over the weekend. Rumors swirled that Jamie Kennedy brought his girlfriend on stage and proposed during the middle of a show over the weekend. Of course Jennifer said yes!

Except that it didn’t really happen. Jennifer dumped her other fiance Ross McCall after being engaged for a few years. She hooked up with Jamie quickly and already hinted at marriage with him. But according to People Magazine:
Despite a report published Tuesday that Kennedy had proposed to his girlfriend onstage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, Calif., over the weekend, reps for both stars say it’s not the case. “There’s no truth to the report,” says Hewitt’s rep. Kennedy’s rep echoes: “There’s no truth to this report whatsoever.”
Keep your engagement party gift…because the real one for Jennifer and Jamie is surely around the corner. So, no congratulations to you!
