So. Are John Mayer and Jessica Simpson getting back together or not? We got a little excited about the two and a rumored rendezvous when we read that Tony Romo found text messages from John Mayer and that this was a pivotal point of the couple’s break-up.

Of course, Media Loving Mayer couldn’t let something like this go without a tweet, update, memo, or picture to the press. This time he let his friends do the yapping. He’s being generous.
Mayer‘s pal Rob Dyrdek told People.com:
“Absolutely not. [I] wouldn’t rule out..I’m just saying [I don't think so].”
Well, there you have it. Sort of. Kind of muddy, but hey, it’s Jessica and John. What do you expect?
