Kanye West has scored himself a new gig —and intern at Gap. Oh, Lord. Egomaniacal Kanye as an intern, for godsakes? Here’s hoping he’s slinging lattes and filing papers. Kanye, says the source, is willing to make fashion his top priority right now.

He accepted an internship in the New York City Gap office. Regardless, it doesn’t seem like West is carrying around his larger-than-life stage persona.
‘Fashion is Kanye’s main priority at the moment. He wants to get his own brand started. He works all the time, and one Friday night recently, he stayed until 12 am. He’s learning the fashion business from the inside and trying to do it quietly.’ (via Marie Claire)
