Lindsay Lohan is a genius and we just don’t know it yet. At least according to her mother, Dina Lohan. Lindsay’s mom went on to rave about her daughter, saying how smart she is and what future brilliant things Lindsay is going to give the world. Hold on, I know….

Dina denied, of course, that Lindsay has any substance problems. She glossed right over it and went on about work. Via the Straits Times:

According to Mrs Lohan, Lindsay, 23, is on the brink of a return to Hollywood – but this time she will be behind the camera.

“She’s a genius and has such a good heart. Lindsay will direct one day. She loves directing!” Mrs Lohan said.

Mrs Lohan, who stars in the Living Lohan reality TV show, predicts a successful comeback, but says the most important thing her daughter can do is to fall hopelessly in love.

Huh? Like love conquers all…including demons, drinking problems and rehab? Lindsay might be smarter than we give her credit for, but a genius? All parents think their kids are geniuses!
