Mischa Barton is hospitalized after calling the cops for help. The trouble apparently started yesterday afternoon, when Barton called the cops because she’s Marissa from The O.C. - ”Celebrity Status” you know. So the cops went over to her place and made sure Mischa got to the hospital safely and soundly!

Her rep Craig Schneider confirms to E! Online that Police were involved due to Ms. Barton’s celebrity status to ensure her safe transfer to medical treatment, for which she [Barton] remains hospitalized as per the recommendation of her doctor.

Craig didn’t comment on Access Hollywood’s report that Barton has been placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Whatever just hope Mischa gets all better asap! We’ve all been young and foolish once – Oh you haven’t? You must have been a big nerd! Don’t pass too much judgment now we don’t really know what happened.
