Independence Day, commonly known as 4th of July is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain (United Kingdom). Amy Winehouse is forbade from taking drunk dips in her hotel pool. Amy has been holed up in St. Lucia for a few months now, and has been (this is gonna shock the pants off you) getting drunk and swimming in her hotel’s pool. They were worried the singer would drown. Wow. She gets sloppy.

Kanye West has scored himself a new gig —and intern at Gap. Oh, Lord. Egomaniacal Kanye as an intern, for godsakes? Here’s hoping he’s slinging lattes and filing papers. Kanye, says the source, is willing to make fashion his top priority right now.
