Chris Brown got his sentence yesterday which doesn’t contain any jail time as expected. The sentence includes 5 years probation, 6 months of hard labor, a year of domestic violence classess, must stay 100 yards away from Rihanna and 10 yards during entertainment events for the next five years and a few thousand dollars of fine. Brown will serve his sentence in his home town, Virginia.

If Chris should violate the terms of his sentence, he can be sent to state prison.
Toward the end of the hearing, Judge Schnegg warned Chris in an apparent reference to reports that the ex-lovers may have had contact against court order:
“I’m not immune to any chatter on the airwaves. Do you understand, Mr. Brown, that any violation of this order is a violation of your probation and it comes with the possible penalty of prison?” Brown responded “Yes.” – via People

I am not to judge whether his sentence is fair or not. I hope he learns big time from it and it should never happen again.
I urge all my readers to learn from it too. Anger management is so critical. If you snap, that could be it. Learn to control your anger. Breathe and if you could walk away from a fight at least that could help not blowing up things. I believe a lot of times, fights are blown out of proportions. Haven’t you been in situations which you’d later on regret and wish you have had better anger control?
