David Beckham promotes California…with Arnold Schwarzenegger. David agreed to do some work for the California tourism industry and filmed the shots over the weekend. But David wasn’t wearing his Galaxy uniform and Victoria wasn’t anywhere in sight.

David wore a regular T-shirt and shorts and kicked a ball off the beach and in to the ocean. Maybe shirtless David would have attracted more attention? According to E! Online:

The soccer stud, 34, was on the beach in Santa Monica this week shooting a spot for a new ad campaign for the California Travel & Tourism Commission that will launch next month in the U.S., Canada and Becks‘ native Great Britain…

David always seems to be helping out.  He helps sick and underprivileged kids, now he’s helping the California economy? What can’t Becks do? It’s a shame the Galaxy fans think to boo him, because he did draw a lot of attention – positive – to their team that was otherwise unknown.
