Kate Gosselin made an appearance on this morning’s Today Show and broke down into tears. We haven’t been as excited about this whole Jon and Kate frenzy as everyone else, but this was the first interview where Kate’s stoic facade broke into true emotions.

Meredith Viera asks her if she was the one who called it quits on the marriage (she says “no”), and admits she stil wears the wedding ring for the children’s sake. Which, is sort of counter-intuitive. You think a wedding ring matters when they can’t walk into a grocery store without seeing their Mommy and Daddy on the newsstand rack?
It just doesn’t make sense. But check out the video below:
