Lindsay Lohan had a rather awkward run-in with her overbearing father, Michael Lohan, this past weekend. As everyone knows, Lindsay and Michael have a strained relationship, often battling it out in the press, where Michael would blog and tweet about his daughter’s drug, alcohol problems and relationship with Samantha Ronson.

Well, it looks like Michael may be (once again!) trying to mend things with his daughter, but Lindsay‘s had enough.
Page Six caught the two in action (or inaction) on Saturday night:
While she [Lindsay] was trying to talk to Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Kim Cattrall and Andrew Balazs, he talked into her ear, almost ignoring her younger brother, Michael. As soon as the elder Michael backed off, a bodyguard stood near Lindsay, prompting one spy to note, “It looks like he’s stalking her.”
The “elder Michael” is eating his words now after calling Samantha Ronson the devil and a myriad of other insults.
“The next day, Lohan Sr. bumped into Hampton Sheet publisher Joan Jedell at 75 Main in Southampton and reversed his criticism of Lindsay’s gal pal Samantha Ronson: “I was misled by people who had their own agenda . . . I was wrong and I’m very sorry. I wish the best for them.”
Bet Samantha Ronson is just thrilled and overwhelming relieved she doesn’t have to put up with that family anymore.
