Michael Jackson’s cause of death has been revealed. Jackson had “lethal” amounts of propofol in his system. Jackson‘s doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, prescribed Propofol to Jackson in order to treat insomnia. According to a search warrant affidavit, Murray was attempting to ween Jackson off the medication as he feared the King of Pop was becoming addicted.

On June 23rd, Murray administered a lethal injection of propofol and mixed it with two other sedatives, lorazepam and midazolam, according to usmagazine.com. On June 25th, none of the sedatives he doled out were working on Jackson anymore. This is when he gave the extra boost of propofol, which ended up killing him.
Jackson was declared dead later that day on June 25th.
