Michael Phelps was in a car bust up Thursday night. Luckily, Michael appeared to be OK but his vehicle looks pretty smushed. And the vehicle he hit was a bit crunched looking too. We’ll see if more bad news comes out for Michael in the next day, because….

…the accident was Michael’s fault. Please, please don’t let drugs or alcohol be a factor, because witnesses are saying he was speeding and ran a red light too! From Perez Hilton:

Sources tell us that his Escalade was smashed up and he was seen talking to police – barefoot! – on the corner of Biddle St. & Calvert St.

It appears that fishy Phelps hit the car in front of him as he was driving.

And, after the accident, “gawkers started snapping pics of Michael and the car crash and he started freaking out on them, ordering them to delete the photos!”

Not good for the Olympic swimmer. Keep your nose clean Michael! We know he has a history of substance issues…let’s keep those in the past.
