Stefania Fernandez, from Venezuela crowned Miss Universe 2009 last night. Miss Venezuela, Fernandez, is 18-years-old and she is interested in International Relations. Stefania was born September 4th, 1990 in Merida, Venezuela. The gorgeous beauty is of mixed heritage including Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish.

Stefania’s measurements are 35.5-24-35.5 (inches), She stands 5 feet 8.
The beauty pageant contest started off with 84 contestants Miss Turks & Caicos, Jewel Sevlver pulled out due to illness this weekend. Miss Universe was broadcasted live from Atlantis, Paradise Island with hosts Billy Bush and Claudia Jordan.
A star-studded panel of judges chose:
First Runner-Up: Miss Domincan Republic, Ada Aimee De La Cruz.
Second Runner-Up: Miss Kosovo, Gona Dragusha.
Rest of Top Five: Miss Australia, Rachael Finch; Miss Puerto Rico, Mayra Matos Perez.
Miss Photogenic Universe Award goes to Miss Thailand, Chutima Durongdej.
Miss Congeniality Universe Award goes to Miss China, Wang Jingyao.
