Paris Hilton escapes from the lawsuit holding her responsible for Pledge This! bombing. A judge ruled that Paris can’t he held accountable for the whole mess – financial mess of it anyway. I wonder if he wrote in an aside that her acting skills could use a bit of work?

Paris does not have to pay any of the $8 million dollars that was slapped her responsibility by the producers. She might have to pay in other ways though. According to the Guardian:
Paris Hilton will not have to pay $8.3m in damages for failing to promote the 2006 turkey Pledge This! a court found yesterday. But she may yet have to return a proportion of her $1m acting fee, US district judge Federico Moreno said in Miami.
Seriously, would Paris even realize if a million dollars were gone? She has several what, hundred more to bargain with? I think she should just pay it and get these people off her back! The judge will rule on Paris’ payout sometime soon.
