Shia LaBeouf writes a huge check for charity. The actor who has had his share of trouble in the past, is also very generous with his money. Shia wrote a personal check for over $10,000 for items he bought during a charity auction this weekend.

Shia seems like a nice guy, when he isn’t flipping off photographers. He puts his money where his mouth is, too. According to Entertainment Daily:

Actor Shia LaBeouf stunned guests at a charity bash after writing out a cheque for 10,000 dollars in Los Angeles, it has emerged.

The Transformers star was attending the Riders for Health auction proceeds from which will go to the international non-profit that provides health-care to rural African villages using motorcycles.

The 23-year-old bid for items including a 3,000 dollar hand-painted racing jacket and a 2,500 dollar helmet.

Really, this isn’t a surprise. Shia likes motorcycles, plus he is a decent guy. So Shia bought motorcycle paraphernalia for charity? Not surprised!
