Victoria Beckham is the new American Idol Judge! Beckham has so far agreed to make one guest appearance on Idol for a rumored £155,000 ($260,000)! Simon Cowell has called on Posh, his old friend to join him on the Idol judging panel in the wake of Paula Abdul’s sudden exit.

Posh’s rep has told the Daily Mail: Yes Victoria will be making a “one off” appearance as a guest judge.’
American Idol is still the highest-rating TV program in the U.S. drawing an average of 26.3 million viewers per episode, making the role an impressive coup for Victoria.
Abdul announced yesterday that she was leaving American Idol after eight years.
Paula wrote on her Twitter page last night:
‘With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to Idol’
A source says Posh is not interested to take over Paula’s role permanently. She prefers to focus on her fashion.With hubby Dave wanting to move back to Europe to play ball for AC Milan, Victoria probably will be torn between two lands if she were to take up the role permanently. Tough to spend so much time away from her gorgeous soccer ace hubby but then again, he’s stuck to her like a stamp to a letter. I thought guys like Becks have extincted.
